A Pain Giver is a thin metallic device placed around a person's neck and/or wrists, used mostly for controlling prisoners and torture.

The Pet School Jewel Recipes are sold by Lowe Springfield in the Pet Pavilion. You must be a Novice Crafter or higher to buy the recipes. They cost 1,000 gold, require a Jewel crafting station and have a 5 minute cooldown.

These can be unlocked by using Crowns or a Socket Wrench. Socket Wrenches are obtained by defeating bosses throughout the Spiral and come in 5 different types: Novice, Adept, Expert, Master and Artisan. Socket Wrenches can be placed on the walls of your house for display. Each Jewel can only be placed in a socket once.

Jewelcrafting tables can be found on most islands, often near the blacksmith if it's a island that hosts a settlement.

The crafting station is available in furniture stores. Go to the one in Wizard City's Shopping district and you should find one. When it comes to recipes, the only jewels I bother to craft are the pet gems. Their recipes are sold by the Pet Shoppe Boys in the Pet Pavilion.

How do jewels work in Wizard101? ›

Special Sockets located within our gear allow us to hold specific Jewels. These Jewels come in four shapes: Circle, Square, Tear, and Triangle. The Jewels we acquire give us different attributes having to do with damage, accuracy, critical, resistance, etc. Some Jewels can even add Item Cards to Wizards' decks.

You may know this, but you can buy them for a few arena tickets. The Lustrous Pip Opal (10%) costs 275 arena tickets from Jordo Mistborn. He's outside the arena, just to the left as you come into Unicorn Way from the Commons. One tournament will likely give you enough tickets or almost enough just for turning up.

Jewels drop all over, and you can get them from jewel plants and event rewards.

If you've completed MooShu and received the Spiral Key, talk to Merle Ambrose and he will send you on an exciting adventure that will lead you to the new world. Dragonspyre is located on the second page of the Spiral Door interface.

The Constellation Jewel is a ring you can craft that gives you sixty five health and five percent outgoing heal bonus. The recipe can be purchased from the woman administering the quest, Felicia Worthington, along with the Stinger of the Scorpion.

Crafting recipe vendors are located throughout the Spiral on all worlds some in commons of each world, some in random spots as you explore and quest around, except Wysteria I believe. If you are looking for specific recipe that would narrow your search, as there are lots of recipes.

Re: Jewel Plants

From what I can see, it is a drop you can get from the Farley's Gardening Pack (499 Crowns) and for the Jewel Star Blossom you can also find that jewel plant in the Zafaria Safari Pack (399 Crowns). It also aligns with the game house Item Identifier.

An easy way to get Diamonds is to get the transmute diamond recipe which you can get from Felicia Worthington in the north west area of Reagents square. (There are plenty of other vendors but that is the lowest rank world to get it at) It only uses 15 ores which is pretty good because ores are very easy to find.
